Company Insights
FurnitureCraft India was established in 2020 by master woodworkers and design professionals united by a passion for quality, sustainability, and innovation in Indian furniture-making. Frustrated by mass-produced, low-durability imports, we set out to revive India’s rich joinery heritage—Shilpi techniques, tongue-and-groove assembly, and hand-carving—while integrating CNC precision and contemporary aesthetics.
Our headquarters in Chennai houses a 10,000 sq ft workshop with separate zones for rough milling, fine joinery, carving, upholstery, and finishing. We employ 50+ skilled craftsmen—each with 10–20 years of experience—and trained designers who translate your ideas into detailed CAD/CAM models. We source Sheesham, teak, mango, and acacia from certified sustainable plantations, and our water-based lacquers and stains meet international VOC standards, ensuring healthy indoor air quality.
FurnitureCraft India operates on three pillars: Artisanal Excellence, Design Customisation, and Sustainable Practices. Under Artisanal Excellence, every joint, curve, and surface is inspected by senior master craftsmen, ensuring structural integrity and timeless beauty. Design Customisation allows you to choose wood species, finishes, upholstery fabrics, hardware, and dimensions—guided by our in-house design consultants to match your décor. Sustainable Practices encompass responsible sourcing, waste-minimisation through off-cut repurposing, and solar-powered kilns for wood seasoning.
We serve homeowners, interior designers, corporate offices, and boutique hotels across India. Our portfolio includes luxury villas in Goa, coworking lounges in Bangalore, heritage restorations in Udaipur, and executive boardrooms in Mumbai. Each project is managed via our client portal—render approvals, production schedules, and delivery tracking—ensuring transparency and peace of mind. At FurnitureCraft India, we don’t just build furniture; we craft heirlooms that tell your story for generations.
